Users review: Let me preface this saying I am a huge Transformers fan. I love the series. I love the concept. I loved the animated series that used to air on TV. I even loved the previous Transformers movies. (Well, maybe not the third, but I think it is good.) It is one of my favorite franchises and I just watched this one butchered for more than two and a half hours.Transformers: Age of Extinction is a disaster. I was delighted to have the opportunity to see it before most of the world, but ended up thoroughly disappointed. The film is 165 minutes of incomprehensible nonsense, and if you think thats what the previous films, well, you might start seeing this.First appreciated after all, it's been a god awful Michael Bay and humor we saw in the previous films. It is not fun at all, and so much of it so often it makes you cringe. It's like watching an old senile man running naked on the street. Its sad and it makes you feel uncomfortable. But what was there before too. What I like about the Transformers movies, or what someone loves them, watching transforming robots and fight. There were memorable moments from the previous films. I still remember the first scene of the film where Ironhide jumping up and shoot missiles into the air slowly as the girl shouted down, and Starscream jump and turn the air and fly away, one side being sliced in half by Sideswipe, Scorponok rises out of the ground, and the brief scenes with a spreader and Devastator is the second film and finally the sequences that time Shockwave and Bumblebee transformed with Shia LaBeouf still in the car 'Such third no movie. But happens in the film. Optimus Prime and Bumblebee other than there were three other Autobots in the film, each of which is new. They try to come across as interesting, but you dont really give a damn about them. Bumblebee is so rarely seen on screen you forget hes not even exist in the film. And Optimus Prime is going through his routine of becoming her ass kicked thoroughly in the first half of the film, only to rise again later, which was a common theme of previous films. This is why I do not feel particularly strongly about the film version of First because it is missing so often and so hard fought its hard to take him seriously as leader. There a lot of action sequences in the film, but the first half has about 10% of them . Given the first half is approximately 90 minutes from the time it means that you are treated to a lot of conversation and other things that are either stupid or just boring. When sh * t hits the fan starts later, its only a bloody mess, with so much happening at the same time that you dont care about anything and that's not particularly cold nor memorable. There is also the nausea inducing shaky camera technique abused at the bottom here, which in fact difficult to see what is going on because everything was shaking so god damned much all the time. Except where product placement occurs, then the camera is completely still so you can see the mark clearly. The only redeeming aspects of this film is the CGI with some very impressive 3D sound and amazing. The film looks and sounds great, and if you make the mistake looking at, do it in IMAX as I did, because otherwise there will be nothing there to enjoy. (This film had the highest number of IMAX film I've seen in any movie, with almost half of this film in IMAX., However, does not like the way he constantly keeps jumping between IMAX and non-IMAX images between each scene another . This probably wont bother you as much as it bothered me, and if you look at in a theater on a regular basis, then you used to see any) Overall, Transformers:. Age of Extinction in a terrible mess of a movie and a complete waste of time and money. The previous Transformers films guilty pleasure and a very specific itch scratched on a very targeted audience, but you ...
