Users review: So here's the thing: I saw Jersey Boys today. Now, I have never been interested in stage version (I think music should be original music), and do not really trust the Clint Eastwood musical; In short - I was prepared to hate it (I've been called a snob and pretentious than a few times). But let me tell you that I am dead wrong.It was awesome! The actors are stellar, the music fantastic and totally captivating film. I had a big goofy smile stamped on his face from start to finish. The crowd applauded twice in the film (which was good). It would not be hyperbolic to say to me that he gets the Oscar nominations. I'm watching this movie again and again when it comes out on June 20th. Do yourself a favor and do the same.
